NBC Middle and High School students please stop walking between the school buses after school. There is a lot of traffic and we don’t want anyone to get hurt. Please walk around the back of the last bus if you must cross the street by the Middle School entrance.

All 7th and 8th grade boys basketball players will start practice by coming to the Library immediately after school. Report to the Library when the bell rings if you are a 7th or 8th grade boys basketball player.

Your spirit days will be Class Color Monday, Students dress like your parents, Staff dress like your students Tuesday, Tie Die Wednesday, Pajama Thursday and NBC Spirit day on Friday! Class colors are posted in the South Commons. 8th Graders will be YELLOW and Middle School will be GREEN. We will also have the school open on Saturday, September 12, from 5-7 pm for classes to decorate hallways. Please consider wearing a mask for this. Students wishing to attend athletic events at NBC will need to have a ticket for admittance to the activity. Each participant will get an allotted amount to distribute to family and friends. If participants do not give out all their tickets we ask that they bring them to
the office to be shared with the student body. Students who wish to attend the game but did not receive a ticket may come to the front office and sign up for the lottery. The lottery will be drawn at the end of the day on game day for student to receive a ticket. Please note that this ticket does not get you free admittence to the game, you will still have to pay the gate fee.

Signs that are not political, obscene, or in bad taste may be posted within the playing facility as long as the signs do not interfere with the spectators’ view of the game or with the playing of the game. Please bring your canned goods and hats and/or mittens to your TAP and the group with the biggest donation by December 18th will receive Pizza for their TAP! Help us help out our community!

  3. Snowball is fast approaching! The Spanish Club is officially hosting the dance Saturday December 14th from 8-11. Doors close at 9! We will not be doing king and queen this year but, to make up for it, we will be having prizes that will be raffled at 10pm.

    Your entrance fee covers one raffle ticket, but if you’d like to buy more than one chance at a prize, you can purchase more tickets 1 for $3 or 2 for $5. We will be entertained by DJ Felipe Manzano. $5 per ticket. Guest permission forms are available in the office. Please come by room 25 before Thursday if you’d like to request a certain song(s). Hope to see you there!! Spanish club members: Please come by room 25 and sign up for set up or take down shifts for the Snowball!!!

4. Tiger Ornaments for Sale! The National Honor Society still has a few ornaments remaining from their fundraiser. They are $5 each. Proceeds benefit FurEver Homes, Inc. dog rescue in Fremont. If you’d like one, stop in the front office. If you want the basketball ribbon switched to a solid orange or paw print, let Ms. Morgan know and she can do that for you. smorgan@nbtigers. org

  3. Juniors: Prom theme proposal forms are due to Mrs Gross-Rhode or Mr Crowley by Monday, Dec 16. You must pay any money owed before submitting theme ideas. Voting for theme and servers will be before school on Thursday, Dec 19. You must have paid money owed before you can vote for theme. Prom theme ideas are due Monday. Leave the part about having to pay work fee and money owed before they can submit a theme or vote> At this time, only two people will be voting for servers and Mrs. GR and Mr. Crowley get to decide the theme because none have been handed in.

  4. Seniors- If you have not already done a transcript credit check with Mrs. Gaughen, see her as soon as it works in your schedule. You must do this before you leave for Christmas break.
    Any student that needs a schedule change for second semester needs to see Mrs. Gaughen before next Wednesday.
