  2. The Wayne State College rep will be here today at 9:00a.m. If any 10th, 11th or 12th grade student would like to meet with the rep to learn more about Wayne State College, talk to your 2nd period teacher in advance about missing class to okay it and then see Mrs. Gaughen for a pass.

  3. Because there is no school Friday, the track throwers will meet this THURSDAY morning, instead of Friday morning this week.

  4. Optimist Club Baseball and Softball registration days: Wednesday 2/19 5:00-7:30PM at PVB Conference Center. If unable to attend, forms will be available at the bank 2/20. Registration deadline is Friday, 2/28.

  5. 10. Federal law prohibits youth under 16 years of age from using specific equipment on a farm unless parents or legal guardians own the farm. Certification received after a course provided by Nebraska Extension grants an exemption to the law, allowing 14- and 15-year-olds to drive a tractor and to do field work with certain mechanized equipment. Want more information about

the summer courses offered that waive these restrictions? See Mrs. Wright!

10. Federal law prohibits youth under 16 years of age from using specific equipment on a farm unless parents or legal guardians

own the farm. Certification received after a course provided by Nebraska Extension grants an exemption to the law, allowing 14- and 15-year-olds to drive a tractor and to do field work with certain mechanized equipment. Want more information about the summer courses offered that waive these restrictions? See Mrs. Wright!

  3. Snowball is fast approaching! The Spanish Club is officially hosting the dance Saturday December 14th from 8-11. Doors close at 9! We will not be doing king and queen this year but, to make up for it, we will be having prizes that will be raffled at 10pm.

    Your entrance fee covers one raffle ticket, but if you’d like to buy more than one chance at a prize, you can purchase more tickets 1 for $3 or 2 for $5. We will be entertained by DJ Felipe Manzano. $5 per ticket. Guest permission forms are available in the office. Please come by room 25 before Thursday if you’d like to request a certain song(s).   2. Snowball is fast approaching! The Spanish Club is officially hosting the dance Saturday December 14th from 8-11. Doors close at 9! We will not be doing king and queen this year but, to make up for it, we will be having prizes that will be raffled at 10pm.

    Your entrance fee covers one raffle ticket, but if you’d like to buy more than one chance at a prize, you can purchase more tickets 1 for $3 or 2 for $5. We will be entertained by DJ Felipe Manzano. $5 per ticket. Guest permission forms are available in the office. Please come by room 25 before Thursday if you’d like to request a certain song(s). Hope to see you there!! Spanish club members: Please come by room 25 and sign up for set up or take down shifts for the Snowball!!!

  1. Juniors: Prom theme proposal forms are due to Mrs Gross-Rhode or Mr Crowley by Monday, Dec 16. You must pay any money owed before submitting theme ideas. Voting for theme and servers will be before school on Thursday, Dec 19. You must have paid money owed before you can vote for theme.

  2. Tiger Ornaments for Sale! The National Honor Society still has a few ornaments remaining from their fundraiser. They are $5 each. Proceeds benefit FurEver Homes, Inc. dog rescue in Fremont. wrestling coach of the 1936 Olympics (Billy Thom, 1918): Jolie Stranik, Tristan
Anderson and Kyler Hellbusch. Nineteen others correctly answered 2 of the 3 graduates. Your names were entered into a drawing. You can also pre-order latest Dog Man book to be released and delivered in December.

  2. Congratulations to the North Bend Land Judgers from Tuesday in Leigh. Top Placers were Dalton Blaha, 3rd; Hannah Murray, 4th; Peyton Mitties, 9th; Domomic Tank, 18th; Shyann Rolenc, 19th and Amy Murray, 21st out of 436 total competitors. Overall North Bend Received 15 ribbons out of 19 competing. All 5 teams earned team ribbons! Top 2 teams tied for 3rd out of 125 teams. State qualifiers are: Hannah Murray, Shyann Rolenc, Russell Raymond and Erica Stphenson as a team and Dalton Blaha and Peyton Mitties individually. Congrats!

  4. High School football, volleyball, softball, cross country, cheerleading and dance: Spirit Button order forms are available from your head coach OR the front office. Forms and payment are due back to the office by today. Order forms are also
    available on the school website in a printable link. Get your order & payment taken care of today and support all your friends in their activities for only $3 a button!
