NBC Student Council is hosting its annual Fall Blood Drive on Wednesday, November 6th from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students 16 years of age--with parent permission and older CAN donate blood. Every student that donates will be put into a drawing for a $20 gift card. You must have a Drivers License or Donor Card on the day of the drive. Please use the RAPID PASS it will
make your wait time shorter. The goal is 62 units. If we get to 75 units someone on staff will get their head shaved!!!!
2020 State Wrestling tickets are on sale now! They are $32 a set, this will get you a seat anytime NBC wrestlers are on the mat. If interested, order and pay with Mrs. Ray before Nov. 15th

Students grades 9-12: NMC (Nebraska Machine Corporation -- Nebraska’s certified Caterpillar Dealer & Service provider) will be visiting next Friday, Nov. 8 during 1st period to introduce their Premier Diesel Tech sponsorship program for students pursuing a career in the heavy equipment industry. Students interested in mechanics, diesel technology, electrical engineering, and getting your college education paid for in these areas (+ paid internships each summer!), get a pass from Mrs. Wright or Mrs. Gaughen and join us in Mr. Wright’s room for this presentation by NMC recruiters!

NBE Book Fair will be happening at the NBE library this Monday and Tuesday from 3:30 - 7:00. Books for all ages will be there. Stop by and check out the selection. You will be able to buy the latest Wimpy Kid book that is being released nationwide on Tuesday. Order the book on Monday and have it delivered on Tuesday. You can also pre-order latest Dog Man book to be released and delivered in December.
Students grades 9-12: Platte Valley Equipment (John Deere) is hosting their Career Exploration Day Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 8:30am-1pm. Lunch is provided. Experience careers, learn how your work will impact the world, and how you can graduate from college debt-free with a guaranteed job. Sign up with Mr. Mottl or Mrs. Wright ASAP to secure your spot on this awesome field trip!

11. State Football Playoff Apparel is available for purchase again. If you are interested, there are forms in the main office or in Mr.
Stieren’s room. The forms are due back today by noon. You can turn them into the main office or to Mr. Stieren.
