Today’s Activities: Football vs Aquinas at 7:00 HOSA @ Omaha

  1. Spanish club- The next meeting will be Saturday October 19th from 630 -900. We will be taking in a little bit of Mexican history and culture with Pancho Villa and tostadas de tinga! Please sign up on the sheet outside room 25.

  2. Seniors interested in a career in the Natural Resources field, see Mrs. Wright for details on SIX $1000 scholarships, due Nov. 10!

  3. Juniors and Seniors interested in the Nebraska National Guard can meet with a recruiter Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 2:30pm. Get a pass from Mrs. Gaughen OR Mrs. Wright to hear more about the exciting opportunities the Guard has to offer!

4. Art Club Screen Printing Party will be Tuesday 15 Oct, from 4 to 7. Bring your own t-shirts or other garments to print and customize. Snacks will be provided. RSVP with Mr. Wright in room A-1

  1. The Marine recruiter Srgt. Gomez will be here today. Any junior or senior that would like to meet with the recruiter to find out what opportunities the military can offer, please visit with your teacher at that time and see Mrs. Gaughen for a pass.

  2. HS and JH Band Students, we are running a concession stand on Monday October 14th for the JVFB game. Please come sign-up in the band room if you are available!

  3. FBLA members interested in buying a tshirt need to pay $15 to Mrs. Miller by Friday, Oct. 11th.

  4. Pink Out Friday-Footbal game face tattoos, raffling for blankets, cheerleaders and dancers giving away pink pom poms, selling cotton candy, suckers will be sold after school each day at the elementary and high school for $1.00. All proceeds going to Dodge County Relay for Life.

  5. 7th and 8th grade boys will check basketball gear out Monday after school in Mr. Richardson’s room after school. Practice starts Monday October 21st.

10. The rep from Northeast Community College will be here today at 1:30p.m. Any junior or senior that would like to meet with the rep needs to talk to their teachers at that time to okay it and then see Mrs. Gaughen for a pass.

11. Juniors and Seniors interested in a career in service, parts, or sales in agricultural or construction equipment, diesel or collision repair technology, heavy equipment, or precision ag (ag technology), see Mrs. Wright immediately. SIX different companies are offering college tuition coverage, scholarships, and internships for students and we’re touring them in the coming weeks! Join us to explore the exciting opportunities available to you to gain high wage, high skill, high demand employment before, during and after high school!

  1. Sophomores that received a letter about qualifying for the PSAT, please stop by Mrs. Gaughen’s office and let her know if you plan to take it and if you do, grab a sign-out sheet and a study guide. If Mrs. Gaughen is not in her office, please leave her a note.

  2. Congratulations to the North Bend Land Judgers from Tuesday in Leigh. Top Placers were Dalton Blaha, 3rd; Hannah Murray, 4th; Peyton Mitties, 9th; Domomic Tank, 18th; Shyann Rolenc, 19th and Amy Murray, 21st out of 436 total competitors. Overall North Bend Received 15 ribbons out of 19 competing. All 5 teams earned team ribbons! Top 2 teams tied for 3rd out of 125 teams. State qualifiers are: Hannah Murray, Shyann Rolenc, Russell Raymond and Erica Stphenson as a team and Dalton Blaha and Peyton Mitties individually. Congrats!

    Happy Birthday over the weekend to Hunter Johnston, Paige Stuenkel and Pamela Martinez Lopez!
