NBC Student Council is hosting its annual Fall Blood Drive on Wednesday, November 6th from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students 16 years of age--with parent permission and older CAN donate blood. Every student that donates will be put into a drawing for a $20 gift card. You must have a Drivers License or Donor Card on the day of the drive. Please use the RAPID PASS it will make your wait time shorter. The goal is 62 units. If we get to 75 units someone on staff will
get their head shaved!!!!
2020 State Wrestling tickets are on sale now! They are $32 a set, this will get you a seat anytime NBC wrestlers are on the mat. If interested, order and pay with Mrs. Ray before Nov. 15th
Order your 2020 yearbook today!! You can order it online at nbtigers.org, from Mrs. Ray or at parent teacher conferences. They are $45 for high school and $25 for a middle school. Prices will increase $10 after Nov. 4th. YOU are in it, why not get it!!
Students grades 9-12: the Marine recruiter will be here Monday, Oct. 28 from 2:30-3:30pm. Interested students should get a pass from Mrs. Wright OR Mrs. Gaughen and let your 7th period teacher know ahead of time. Any students interested in hearing what a career with the Marines has to offer, feel free to come and ask questions!
5. Art Club Halloween Party and Pumpkin Carving is Tuesday 29 OCT, 5-7pm,. Bring a treat to share. RSVP with Mr. Wright or bring your own pumpkin.
6. All sophomores-Please check your email for registration information for the Midland Career Day that we attend as a class in January. You must be registered by October 30th. See Mrs. Gaughen if you have any questions.
Students Grades 9-12: the Nebraska National Guard recruiter will be here Wednesday, October 30 at 2:30-3:30pm. Interested students should get a pass from Mrs. Wright OR Mrs. Gaughen for that period to visit with this person about the opportunities this branch of the military can provide.
The rep from Midland University will be here on Tuesday, October 29th at 9:00a.m. Any junior or senior that would like to meet with the rep needs to talk to their teachers at that time to okay it and then see Mrs. Gaughen for a pass.
Students grades 9-12: NMC (Nebraska Machine Corporation -- Nebraska’s certified Caterpillar Dealer & Service provider) will be visiting next Friday, Nov. 8 during 1st period to introduce their Premier Diesel Tech sponsorship program for students pursuing a career in the heavy equipment industry. Students interested in mechanics, diesel technology, electrical engineering, and getting your college education paid for in these areas (+ paid internships each summer!), get a pass from Mrs. Wright or Mrs. Gaughen and join us in Mr. Wright’s room for this presentation by NMC recruiters!
10. One-Act crew please meet after school in room A-1 everyday this week to build and paint.
