DW Visits North Bend Elementary

The real life sister of Marc Brown visited North Bend Central Elementary on Friday, January 29th.  She shared with the Kindergarten-Third Graders how her older brother, Marc, came to be the author and illustrator of the Arthur book series.  One of the characters in the Arthur books is  named DW for which she was the inspiration.  During her visit we listened to the story, DW The Picky Eater and learned a step by step way of drawing Arthur.  Thank you Mrs. Hall for arranging this fun and educational activity for us!!!!!!
