Ready for Grade Give!

Our track meet was held last Thursday. What a beautiful day for a meet. Everyone enjoyed the many activities that Mrs. Moeller had planned for everyone. We think the teachers should have some events that they too can participate in!

Earlier this month all the fourth graders wrote essays on being an American and what our democracy means to each of us. Two representatives from the American Legion Auxiliary presented everyone with pens and a shiny new quarter for our efforts. Michelle was our classroom 1st place winner. Congratulations, Michelle.

Scholastic Super Science magazine asked our class to try some experiments for them. We had great fun doing three of the labs that will appear in the September issue of Super Science. Just ask us how to make a copper penny shine or what the temperature of our cat or dog should be! The year is about to close and we can't believe we are ready for grade five! We are all anxious to move up to middle school.
