Some interesting facts the classes talked about after the project:

2. The flag colors of Mexico mean union (red), independence (green), and white (religion).
3. The main staple of food is corn.
4. Oil is the biggest export and United States is the biggest buyer of this oil.
5. Soccer is the most popular sport and bull fighting is the most popular spectator sport.
6. 90% of people in Mexico are Catholic.
7. Over 4 million Monarch butterflies migrate to Mexico for the winter.
8. Day of the Dead and Independence Day (September 16) are two holidays celebrated in Mexico.
9. Over 4 million people visit Mexico per year. Cancun is the most popular place in Mexico to visit.
10. The Aztecs of Mexico introduced chocolate to the world! Thank you, Aztecs!
