2H Students Celebrate Reading Milestone, 1500 AR Points!!

Students in 2H have read over 3,000 Accelerated Reading Books this year, and are still going strong!! The class has earned over 1,500 AR Points! Students celebrated by eating lunch in their classroom. Each student also enjoyed a very special dessert made by Mrs. Hines! Our goal is to reach 2,000 AR Points by May, but the sky is the limit. The purpose of AR is to have students read..read...read! It's just like anything else, the more you do something, the better you get at it.We know that the more we read, the better readers we become. Mrs. Hines is so proud of her students AR success! Not only have the students earned 1,500 AR points, their accuracy is 92.7%! Way to go NBE Second Graders! Keep Reading!
