5th Grade American History Project

by Amy Sterup
March 12, 2009

The 5th Graders have been studying westward expansion from the Appalachian Mountains to the Mississippi River.  They made a physical map of the United States out of Crayola magic clay.  The students included the Appalachian Mountains, Rocky Mountains, Mississippi River, Columbia River, and Nebraska on their physical map.

Here are some pictures of the students making their maps and having a great time.
