NBC Tiger softball

The Tiger softball team completed their 2009-2010 season with a record of 9-20. We played well and improved from the previous. We were in almost of our games, we just struggled getting runs across. The girls worked hard and we made many positive strides to build on for the next season.

Post season awards went to Meri Gross-Rhode as C2-All District OF and LJS All State Honorable Mention as well as Katie Mann as C2 All District Honorable Mention catcher.

The seniors will be missed, their loyalty, their competitiveness and their leadership will be greatly missed. The rest of the team has the experience and competitiveness to get things done. We have a lot of experience coming back. Even in the positions that opened up by graduation, we have people that can jump right in and take over. If we had to pick one area we need more work is hitting/offensive production. We need to look to score 5-6 runs a game. We some things to work on this summer so lets hope we hit the ground running next fall.
