All NBC freshmen are participating in individual meetings with Guidance Counselor Mrs. Wess this month. These check-ins provide an opportunity for each student to talk about how the start of high school is going and to begin thinking about future goals and plans.
During the meeting, Mrs. Wess takes time to get to know each student personally — learning about their interests, activities, and families — to help guide them toward a successful high school experience and future pathway.
Each student will receive a hard copy of a handout (PDF link below) during their meeting. This handout includes helpful information and reflection questions that can spark meaningful conversations at home. Parents are encouraged to take a few minutes to look through it with their student and discuss how the year is going so far and what goals they have moving forward.
