The North Bend Central School Board approved the 2026-2027 budget at last night's board meeting. A copy of the proposed budget was posted in the North Bend Eagle on September 2, 2026, and was also available on the NBCPS board meeting website. Increases to individual fund budgets include General Fund expenditures, which would include staff pay, operating costs, and transfers to the Depreciation Fund and the Activities Fund. Funds from Depreciation are used to replace district transportation vehicles on an approved schedule. Decreases to the budget include Bond and QCPUF (Quality Capital Purpose Undertaking Fund) expenditures. Overall, the total requirements for this budget are $1,364,888.93 less than last year, a 5.1% decrease.
