Great day for the 3rd-5th grade field day!
Thank you Alexa for sharing and having 5th grade create a Tornado Emergency Preparedness Starter Kit. Each survival bag with items were provided through a grant from the North Bend and Fremont Community Foundations. This fits with 5th graders learning about Natural Disasters.
NBE and NBC were both deemed Heart Safe Schools by Project ADAM at last night's board meeting. Both buildings have Rapid Response Teams trained to handle sudden cardiac arrest situations. Thanks to Kim Castellano from Children's Nebraska for providing such great support!

NBC was happy to host the 5th graders at our building for up shift day! They got a tour, learned about their schedules for next year, and ate lunch. We are looking forward to having the class of 2031 in our building next year!

2nd grade and 4th grade students had fun on their field trips to the Omaha Zoo!
