The NBC 7th Grade Ag class harvested the hydroponic lettuce from the greenhouse last week to be served at school lunch!

Homecoming Pep Rally was a huge success this afternoon with the lip sync battle between fall teams! Congrats to the football team for winning the battle!







The NBC Volleyball, Cheer, and Dance teams are proud to put on Pink Out Week on October 7th - 11th to raise money for Dodge County Relay for Life. Since Pink Out week started back in 2012, the NBC volleyball, cheer and dance programs have raised $16,030.
They will be selling raffle tickets once again for baskets that have been donated by various businesses, including: Diers Ford, NBC PTA, Volleyball Club, Dance and Cheer team and the NBC Booster Club. If you would like to donate a basket for the raffle please contact Amy Sterup at amimick@nbtigers.org.
Raffle tickets will be sold at the home volleyball game and football game during the week and you can also contact Mrs Sterup to buy some tickets if you can't make it to the games. You do not need to be present to win a basket.

Mr. Mottl hosted the Nebraska LEAD Alumni this morning to explain and show them the many ways the NBC students use the greenhouse for in the classroom.

As this school year is in full swing, just a reminder to all NBC students about this FREE online tutoring program they all have access to. If your student could use some extra help with class work, please feel free to sign them up for this program.
Nebraska SMART is a FREE online tutoring program for K-12 students. Tutors are current students at Chadron State, Peru State, and Wayne State Colleges who have been admitted to the teacher education program. Parents must initially register their student(s) before they can receive tutoring services. Once registered, students, or parents on behalf of students can schedule a tutoring session at least 24 hours in advance. Students can join on-demand tutoring to be connected with the next available Tutor.
