6th graders got the chance to "meet" Mae Krier today on Zoom. She was a real-life "Rosie the Riveter," working on planes during World War II. Now 98 years old, Mae spoke to students about equality and opportunities.. Brooklyn K portrayed Mae at the Wax Museum earlier this month.

North Bend EMS and NBCE were involved in a rapid response drill today, combining forces to practice saving a "students'" life. The school was also deemed a Heart Safe School by Project Adam! Thanks to Mrs. Vrana and the Rapid Response Team and to North Bend EMS.

Our first graders finished our Embryology unit through Dodge County Extension Office. We had the opportunity to incubate eggs and hatch chicks. We learned so much about birds, which is our topic in reading for the 2nd semester of learning. It was a wonderful learning experience!
