🌿 We’ve got just TWO tables of plants left at the NBC Greenhouse! 🌿
If you’ve been thinking about adding something green to your home, now’s the time to stop by before they’re gone! 🪴
Greenhouse hours are posted on the graphic. If you arrive during those hours and no one is there, just call the phone number on the greenhouse door for assistance.
Don’t miss out—these plants won’t last long!

Mr. Baldwin's 5th and 6th Grade bands had an incredible day of learning and performing at the Pender Honor Band event earlier this week! 🎶 It was a great opportunity for our students to grow as musicians and collaborate with others. Great job, musicians!

Mrs. Miller’s Geometry classes put their skills to work on a real-life challenge! 📐
Students took a walk to the North Bend City Pool to measure the empty pool, then brought their data back to the classroom to calculate how much water it takes to fill it. 💧
Their estimates ranged from 151,200 to 160,417 gallons… and the city’s official volume? About 160,000 gallons! 🤯
Pretty impressive math in action!

Ms. Raya’s Spanish class had a fantastic opportunity to partner with our first grade classes for a fun and engaging Spanish learning experience! 📚🇲🇽
The Spanish students led the first graders in singing and dancing to a “Months of the Year” song, while also practicing counting, days of the week, and colors. They even introduced themselves in Spanish and shared what grade they’re in!
Together, they read Paletero Man by Lucky Diaz and explored the delicious world of paletas and their many flavors. To wrap up the visit, students created their own paleta crafts and enjoyed traditional Mexican paletas outside.
A wonderful day of learning, collaboration, and culture! 🎉

Today was one for the memory books. 🎓
Our seniors spent their last day walking through graduation practice, running the halls, pizza with Mrs. Petersen and trying on their caps and gowns for the first time as it all started to feel real. They took a trip back to where it all began with a visit to the NBC elementary school, sharing smiles and inspiration with the next generation. And to top it all off, one final bus ride together as a class.
A sentimental day filled with laughter, nostalgia, and just a few tears.
