🩸 Last week, the NBC Student Council proudly hosted a blood drive!

We had 27 registered donors and collected 26 units of blood — an incredible show of support from our school community. Thank you to all the students and staff who signed up to give and help save lives.

A special thank you to Nebraska Community Blood Bank for partnering with us and helping make this event possible!

NBC 1st graders enjoyed a special presentation from Fontenelle Forest! 🦅 Students learned all about raptor birds and even had the exciting opportunity to see a few up close. What an unforgettable hands-on learning experience!

NBC 4th graders had an unforgettable experience at “A Day in the Past” at the May Museum in Fremont on Tuesday! Students rotated through six hands-on stations, discovering the history of the museum and Dodge County.
The cabin and the old-time schoolroom were definite favorites — proving that history really can come to life!

The NBC Spanish Club had a special treat with guest Ms. Cano, who shared about her Colombian heritage and traditions! 🇨🇴

Students rolled up their sleeves and learned how to make their own arepas during this fun, hands-on cultural experience. From learning about the ingredients to enjoying the finished product, everyone had an amazing time!

What a way to end the school day! 🎉🏀 We wrapped things up with an exciting pep rally to send the boys off to STATE! After an inspiring pep talk from the seniors and Head Coach Jon Baehr, the team brought the energy with a fun game of dribble musical chairs. Congratulations to senior Ethan for taking the win in the game! The coaches also joined in on the fun—blindfolded! With guidance from the team, they tried to see how quickly they could make a free throw. Coach Nelson swished his very first attempt! Nothing but net! Let’s keep the momentum going and cheer the boys on as they head to state!

NBC Elementary brought the energy today as they celebrated with our boys basketball team to wish them luck at STATE tomorrow! 🎉

There were plenty of cheers, tons of high fives, and so much Tiger pride all around! 🙌

Our elementary students started their day powered up with high fives, huge smiles, and tons of energy!
