What do you do for a 6th grade keyboarding final when the computers are already turned in? 🤔⌨️
You head outside with sidewalk chalk and recreate the keyboard from memory! ☀️
Ms. Ray’s students were given only the keyboard layout and challenged to draw and label every key by memory. From letters and numbers to shift and space bar, they rose to the challenge and did an amazing job! Great work, students!

Students danced, laughed, and played their way through mountains of foam as they celebrated the end of an amazing school year. Even Mr. LaChapelle couldn’t resist the fun—he jumped in and took a turn at the foam cannon!
A huge THANK YOU to the NBC PTA for sponsoring such a memorable and joy-filled event. What a fantastic way to wrap up the year!

Mrs. Miller’s Geometry classes put their skills to work on a real-life challenge! 📐
Students took a walk to the North Bend City Pool to measure the empty pool, then brought their data back to the classroom to calculate how much water it takes to fill it. 💧
Their estimates ranged from 151,200 to 160,417 gallons… and the city’s official volume? About 160,000 gallons! 🤯
Pretty impressive math in action!

As we get ready to celebrate this year’s graduates, we’re throwing it back to the Class of 1988!
Caps, gowns, and proud smiles—this group crossed the stage and stepped into their next chapter, just like our seniors will soon.
Here’s to the memories, the milestones, and the traditions that carry on year after year.

The Spanish students led the first graders in singing and dancing to a “Months of the Year” song, while also practicing counting, days of the week, and colors. They even introduced themselves in Spanish and shared what grade they’re in!
Together, they read Paletero Man by Lucky Diaz and explored the delicious world of paletas and their many flavors. To wrap up the visit, students created their own paleta crafts and enjoyed traditional Mexican paletas outside.
A wonderful day of learning, collaboration, and culture! 🎉
