Second graders are learning cultures and traditions during the Christmas Around the World unit in December. Today, we got to Zoom with Mrs. Cody's uncle, Keith Pretzer, who lives in Germany. He shared photos, videos, and lots of fun information. We even learned some German today!

NBE second graders became paleontologists as they dug for fossils. They used tools (screwdriver "chisels" as well as toothbrushes) to uncover many fossils including trilobite, ammonite, shark teeth, and coprolite. A great hands-on experience to connect to our reading module.
