NBC patrons, in light of our girls participation in state basketball, there will be no school for grades PreK-12 on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. If the girls win on Wednesday, there will be no school on Friday, March 7, 2025. School will take place as scheduled on Thursday. Head to Lincoln and cheer our Tigers to victory!

Our NBC Speech team had another great performance at the Gator Gab Fest Meet at Wisner-Pilger last Saturday! Here are the highlights:

It's official! The NBC girls basketball team will be hosting Raymond Central this Friday with a trip to state on the line. Pack the house and cheer on the Tigers!
The NBC Cheer & Dance Team competed in the Nebraska State Cheer and Dance Championships. Dance performed a jazz and high kick routine. Cheer performed a game day and non-tumbling/non-building routine. Both teams received the NCA Team Academic Excellence Award 3.30-4.0 GPA.

NBC MathCounts had their chapter competition today in Columbus. Out of approximately 60 students, Bryce C placed 1st and Hadley K placed 2nd! Bryce also won the countdown round. The team of Bryce, Hadley, Stuart W, and Madison H placed 1st out of 10 teams and will make an appearance at the state competition in March! Way to go Tiger Mathletes!
NBC Freshman Philip S is going for the Class C 106 Wrestling Championship! If you can't make it in person to watch in Omaha, check out the coverage on Nebraska Public Media. The Parade of Champions starts at 3 pm.

Due to tomorrow's predicted extreme cold warning and because of the already planned early out, NBC will cancel classes on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Teachers need to report from 10 am until 3:30 pm. JH girls basketball will be rescheduled. Sub-district girls basketball will take place as scheduled.
